This session focuses on what Design Technology is, the legislation and the national curriculum and the use of tools and the risk assessments relating to these. Time is also spent advising on how to teach a safe practical lesson in D&T along with useful contacts and websites. Full day session delivered by Lucy Pike. This session gives an introduction to the art curriculum and how to assess and plan a unit/topic of art. Attendees should bring along a copy of their Art curriculum relevant to their year group. Session available to staff members from partner schools.
